As members of LiuLab, Zhang Ruihao, Ding Han, and Huang Yixuan (all first-year graduate students), we have had the privilege of participating in several meaningful activities. These activities have not only enriched our horizons and strengthened our teamwork, but also broadened our perspectives on diversified development.
This is the Tsinghua University SDG Open Innovation Marathon Challenge that Zhang Ruihao (team leader), Ding Han, and Huang Yixuan participated in in November 2023. The competition was jointly organized by the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, Tsinghua x-lab, and the University of Geneva. It aims to enhance participants' innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship skills while promoting the principles of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
In December 2023, Zhang Ruihao and Huang Yixuan participated in the Greater Bay Area Innovation Challenge at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). This competition was jointly organized by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and the CUHK-Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, which aimed at enhancing participants' innovation awareness and understanding the opportunities and challenges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
In March 2024, Huang Yixuan participated in the Future Entrepreneurs Startup Financing Bootcamp at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). This bootcamp was jointly organized by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and the CUHK-Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, which aimed at enhancing participants' entrepreneurial financing capabilities and understanding the process of business startups.
Although we are a research group, under the guidance of Professor Liu Xiao, we have always emphasized diversified development. Participating in various activities has not only allowed us to find more interests outside of research, but also to gain new inspirations and ideas in different fields. We believe that this diversified development model will bring us more opportunities for innovation and propel our research work forward.
