Xiaofen Huang

2021-2022, Postdoc., Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School

2014-2021, Ph.D., Xiamen University, Biologicals

2010-2014, B.E., Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Bioengineering (Pharmacy)

Huang is joined the Liu lab in Fall 2021 as a postdoctoral fellow. She received her engineering in biotechnology degree in Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China, and holds a Ph.D. (2021) in biologics from Xiamen University, China. His doctoral work focused on developing novel and potent vaccine adjuvants and elucidating their molecular mechanisms. In the Liu lab, Huang is interested in leveraging the tonsil organoid system to study the molecular signatures of vaccine adjuvants by multiple-omics techniques. Elucidating the molecular mechanisms of protective immune pathways associated with vaccine adjuvant and identify biomarkers of effective vaccine adjuvant responses, which would support the rational design of new vaccine adjuvant for human use.
